Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K. 2.
Last summer there was a rumour that Aerosmith were to have a song on the "Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K. 2." soundtrack. Well, in the latest issue of Heavy Metal there was an ad for the soundtrack. Aerosmith was noticeably absent. I assume that means that there's no Aerosmith song on the soundtrack, unfortunately.

In Food Today
On FoodTV today they showed the In Food episode that mentioned Our Boys. Chef/owner Greg Morton of the Bridge Street Cafe in South Dartmouth, Mass demonstrated one of his famous dishes, Sole
Veronique. It's a classic French dish with grapes and a champagne cream sauce, for all you food buffs out there. He said that it was a favorite of Joe's (Mr. Perry as he called him), and that Steven didn't usually eat too much before his went on stage. Apparently, this guy is a bass player in a local band, in addition to being a chef. He must have traveled with the Guys, because he made reference to cooking for them while they were on the road in Florida. Or maybe he owns another restaurant in FLA? If you're at all interested in the recipe, go to:

New Walk This Way Video?
On Videostory about Aerosmith (on Music21) they showed a new Walk This Way video! It's like a "remix" with some new sounds mixed (something like black people with rap rythm... I don't know). The images you can see are from the original WTW video mixed with other scenes of black guys singing and dancing in rap style and Will Smith is there too. When they put the features of this video they only say Walk This Way-Aerosmith (without saying which the other persons are) -- Andrea

News from Aeroforceone.com
As expected, there is no title nor producer decided for the next album. What they do have is a couple of songs, and they will start writing more when they get their equipment back from Japan.
We thought you might appreciate an update regarding
the new album. Asst. Tour Manager John Bionelli
called our offices after getting back from Japan
to let us know how the new album is going. Contrary
to what's been reported, the album has not been named,
and there is no producer confirmed for the project.
What can be said is that the band has a bunch of songs
under their belts ready to go, and are looking forward
to writing a bunch more when their equipment returns
on a slow boat from Japan after just completing the
"Roar of the Dragon" tour. John promises to call in
with updates, so stay tuned to AF1 for more details!

A short Aerosmith reference in 'Sain magazine'. It's an interview with Tonic's lead singer Emerson Hart.
" . . . I feel an affinitiy for anyone who plays great music. My parents
were musicians, my dad listened to a lot of country, for instance. So I
have a very wide appreciation. As a kid I remember listening to Aerosmith's
'Toys in the Attic' and just digging everything about it - it's sounds, its
words and its attitude."

Southpark
In a paper today there was an article about Trey Parker (co-creator of South Park)
and about how they are submitting a song from the South Park movie for an
Oscar nomination. It is bad but anyway... And I quote:
"'We're gonna submit Blame Canada' co-composer Trey parker
told EW. 'But in hindsight we should have just loaded the movie with crappy
Aerosmith songs. That would've won for sure'."
