  • Tylers knee / Armageddon Video
      Official facts from AF1:
Steven Tyler has been having physiotherapy over the last few days as he waits for the inflammation around his knee injury to die down. It seems to have just about gone down now, so he's scheduled for surgery this week,

but he still managed to go ahead with the shooting of the video for the Armageddon single! Strapped into a rigid brace that went from his hip to his ankle, sprayed silver and black to match his costume and covered by a long black fake fur coat. Directed by Francis Lawrence and set in an astronaut training station, the video consists of performance footage intercut with some of the incredible effects from the movie.

  • Don't Want to Miss a Thing - Lyrics
Here's the complete lyrics to the song

      I could stay awake
      Just to hear you breathing
Watch you smile while you are sleeping
      While far away and dreaming

I could spend my life in this sweet surrender
I could stay lost in this moment forever
Every moment I spend with you
      Is a moment I treasure

Don't want to close my eyes
I don't want to fall asleep
      Cause I'd miss ya babe
And I don't want to miss a thing

Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream would never do
      I'd still miss ya baby
And I don't want to miss a thing

      I lay close to you
      Feeling your heart beating
And I wonder what you are dreaming
Wonder if it's me you are seeing

      Then I kiss your eyes
      And thank God we're together
I just want to stay with you
In this moment forever and ever and ever

      I don't want to miss a smile
      I don't want to miss a kiss
I just want to be with you, here with you

      Just 1 kiss

I just want to hold you close
Feel your heart so close to mine
      And stay with this moment
      For the rest of time

      Yeah, yeah, yeaaaaaaaaaaah!

  • Steven needs surgery
Last night doctors confirmed that Steven will require surgery as soon as the inflammation on his knee has been reduced (probably within the next two weeks) followed by a period of twelve weeks rehabilitation.

If you haven't allready heard, Tyler was hit in the knee by the 20 pound base of his microphone stand during the encore of the band's second sold-out show at the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage.

On Sunday, Aerosmith returned to their hometown of Boston and Steven met with one of the leading knee specialists in the country to discuss the injury. Last night, after careful consideration of all the options open to him and the advice he had received, Steven confirmed that he would undergo surgery as soon as the existing swelling on the knee has subsided (doctors estimate this will take a week to ten days, depending on his responsiveness to physiothearpy).
