Young Lust: An Aerosmith Anthology is a collection of tracks recorded for Geffen between 1985 and 1998. It contains material from all Geffen album releases but does also include a few of those hard to get tracks that were released only on singles (Head First, Don't Stop, Ain't Enough, Amazing - orchestral version, Livin' On The Edge - acoustic version) or soundtracks (Love Me Two Times - first version) during the Geffen period.
Also included is the Run-DMC version of Walk This Way, a track not included on the US version of "Get A Grip" (Can't Stop Messin') and three tracks that now makes "Big Ones" an unnecessary purchase (Deuces Are Wild, Walk On Water, Blind Man). Actually, all songs on "Big Ones" are also included here, only "Amazing" and "Livin' On The Edge" are not the original studio versions, as they were on "Big Ones." All 4 live tracks are taken from "A Little South Of Sanity." Album includes liner notes by Gerri Miller.
