This Aerosmith tribute album, "Let The Tribute Do The Talkin'", was released in Japan on Videoarts Music on September 21, 2001. It has also been released in Korea, on Triage Records / Rock Records Korea.
Finally, it was also later(?) released on Mascot Records (in europe?) under a different title, "One Way Street", and with slightly different cover.

This is the second Aerosmith tribute ("Not The Same Old Song And Dance" being the first) produced by Bob Kulick (this time co-producing with Bruce Bouillet, who also worked on the first one) and this one also includes several of the same artists that appeared on the first volume. As with the first release, this album includes many famous rockers covering classic Aerosmith songs...

This Aerosmith tribute album, "String Quartet Tribute to Aerosmith", was released on Vitamin Records(?) on March 18, 2003. Nine Aerosmith tracks are given new interpretations here by the Da Capo Players and the Czech Quartet of Prague. An original composition performed by the Czech String Orchestra is tagged on at the end.

During 2002 and 2003, there was a number of "String Quartet Tributes" released. Among the other acts given this tribute we find such different acts as Slayer, Yanni, Madonna, Nirvana, Staind, Train, James Taylor, Weezer, Bob Dylan and Black Sabbath.

The landscape of the pop standard is changing, and there is no clearer signal than the bowed reverie of "Dream On" that begins String Quartet Tribute to Aerosmith. That tune and eight other gems from the Aerosmith canon are given new interpretations here by the Da Capo Players and the Czech Quartet of Prague. Some of it works, mostly more recent Aerosmith like "Angel" and "Janie's Got a Gun" where the melody is more developed. Other songs, like hard rock gems "Toys in the Attic" and "Draw the Line," just sound busy and confused, but the cheekiness of it all saves even these muddled moments. And it's that sort of cheesy inside humor that carries the new wave of pop classical crossover albums — that and an understanding that more people now know the melody to "Rag Doll" than to "Ebb Tide." — Wade Kergan
